Open Call for Artist Development Residency

Applications are now open for the summer local residency at the house!

This summer, six Barking & Dagenham based creative practitioners will be selected to take part in a free artist development programme for the White House facilitated by artist Raju Rage. Starting in June 2018, the programme will consist of four full weekends across the summer concluding in a showcase event in September.

The programme aims to support local creative practitioners at an early stage in their career with a range of experiences and practices. We are interested in practitioners that have not necessarily had any formal arts education and if you don’t call yourself an artist but are creative, this programme might just be right for you! Some examples of creative practices include photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, 3D design, graphic design, music, video making, film, creative writing, multi media, textiles, poetry, music, curating and organising arts events.

Join us on Friday 1st June, 11am-1pm, we will be hosting an information event at the White House, where you can find out more about the residency. Find out more about the information event.
