Join us for a free screening of Fantastic Mr Fox to celebrate the first film shown in our new pop-up cinema and event space, The Light House.
Fantastic Mr Fox is a film adaptation of the classic Roald Dahl story featuring three horrid farmers - Boggis, Bunce and Bean - who really hate cunning Mr Fox. Directed by Wes Anderson, this stop motion animation features Anderson's distinctive visual style and captures the wonder and humour of Dahl's story.
The Light House is a new pop-up event space open in the White House Beacon Garden this summer. Designed by Central St Martins Architecture student, Conor Morris, it has been co-built with members of The White House community. It is available for use as a pop-up cinema, gallery and workshop space, as well as being Dagenham's only cinema. It is free, publicly accessible and will be a meeting point for people to communicate and share ideas.
