JOB OPPORTUNITY: Assistant Curator (The White House)
Location: The White House, 884 Green Lane, RM8 1BX, Dagenham
Terms: 3 days per week, 6 months – extension to 12 months dependent on funding
Salary: £27,000 pro rata

The White House is looking for an Assistant Curator to oversee and manage the delivery of selected projects within The White House’s artistic and community programme, including a series of artist residencies and commissions, public realm projects, workshops and events across a range of disciplines.
The Assistant Curator will report to and work closely with The White House Curator and broader team, aswell as its wider community and stakeholders to develop and deliver these projects. We are looking for someone who is passionate about social art practice, who enjoys working collaboratively with artists and community members to deliver high quality, challenging and socially engaged projects that are embedded within their context.
It is envisaged the key projects the Assistant Curator will be involved in will include a programme celebrating the Becontree Estate Centenary; a project connected to Social Care provision in partnership with London Borough of Barking and Dagenham; and Community Gardening/Greening initiatives.
