Across 2019 we will be establishing ‘Friends of Beacon Garden’, a group dedicated to caring for and developing a new community garden at The White House. If you’d like to be involved, learn a new skill or simply meet your neighbours please join us for any or all of our gardening sessions.
Join us on Sunday 17 March for a hands-on introduction to basic carpentry skills led by artist and project manager, Richard Clegg. We’ll build outdoor structures for the garden. Gardener and permaculture Graham Burnett will be leading a planting workshop with a focus on climbers. Snacks and drinks provided. No experience necessary.
No experience necessary. Children over 10 are welcome accompanied by a guardian.
This activity is part of the artists They Are Here residency and commission to realise a community garden in Dagenham at The White House.
You're welcome to just drop in but it would be helpful to email whitehouse@createlondon.org to let us know you will be coming along.
