Public Meeting

We are hosting a Public Meeting to introduce our future intentions for The White House to transition into an independent organisation.

The Public Meeting will be an opportunity to hear about and discuss future plans for The White House, to have your say on what happens here and to collectively develop a plan to ensure the White House remains a community resource that serves the needs and interests of its community.

Come and meet friends, neighbours, collaborators, artists, staff and community members as we shape the future of our space together.

Public Meeting is part of Mutual Restructure, a programme of research and activity to explore The White House’s structure. It will interrogate its model, governance systems, decision-making processes, how it operates and cooperates to move towards a new model of independence.

Mutual Restructure will see us work with our communities to undertake a process of collective learning, to test out and generate a new model that is reflective of our ethos and representative of our community; spanning programme, governance and operation.

The White House is a project currently run by Create London, the building is owned by London borough of Barking and Dagenham.
