Studio Bursary Artist 2019

Sonia is a multi-disciplinary artist and researcher whose practice blurs the boundaries of media, art and science. She has recently been focusing on botany, watercolour and research on women naturalists/artists as a starting point for new experimental painting. During her residency, Sonia aims to cultivate these ideas as well as developing new networks and partnerships and identifying new pathways for her art and career.
